Ashish is working as a Researcher with CDF's Environmentally Sustainable Finance group. He is B.Tech. in Chemical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay and has done MBA (PGDFM -Environmental Management) from Indian Institute of Forest Management, Bhopal. He has worked with CII - ITC Centre of Excellence for Sustainable Development, where he was involved in preparing Initial Status Report on GHG emissions inventory for Industrial Processes and Product Use in India. He has also worked on various academic assignments in Forestry, Land Use Planning, Eco City Planning, Payment for Ecosystem Services, Energy Management and Modelling and climate change mitigation and adaptation. He has specific exposure in working analysis of local solutions to global environmental problems with the allocation of funds in development infrastructure, corporate sustainability, environmental and conservation finance, renewable energy technologies, energy management and policy research in environmental economics.
