Researcher

Somya Sethuraman is a Researcher in the Development Metrics team at CDF. She did her bachelors degree in economics from Hansraj College, Delhi University, and post graduation from Madras School of Economics, Anna University. After graduation, she worked as an Information Analyst for Pipal Research, a company that delivers financial and business research and quantitative analytics to organizations worldwide. While pursuing M.Sc in economics, she interned with the International Development Research Centre, a Canadian Crown corporation that works in close collaboration with researchers across the world to build equitable and more prosperous societies. Somya is trained in Bharatanatyam, a form of Indian classical dance, and has performed at various places in India in the past ten years.
